1. When the Dungeon Master is describing a scene, wait until he asks for a response such as “what do you want to do?” or "Do you have any questions?" before posting.
2. When you post an action for your character, wait for the Dungeon Master to respond before posting another action, unless it is to change the stated action. In the later case, the Dungeon Master will assume that the latest post is your desired action and will disregard the earlier posts.
3. When there is a conversation going on - that is two or more characters exchanging dialogue, do not make posts that are unrelated to the conversation. You can contribute to the conversation, ask questions relating to the conversations, or take action that will influence the conversation; for example, if you run away from the speaker, the conversation will probably end.
4. When you want your character to say something to another character, enclose the words spoken in quotation marks. Other details, such as who the words are directed to and tone of voice should be outside the quotation marks. For example: angrily to the guard, “I think you should reconsider.”
